For precise work there's a pulse button, and the "grate" button also functions as an "easy-clean" control for quickly cleansing the 40-ounce, scratch-resistant glass container with soap and water during multibatch work with the same food. (The container is also dishwasher-safe.) The blender's stainless-steel blade-assembly removes for cleaning. The container is calibrated in both ounces and liters, and its plastic lid contains a 2-ounce measuring insert. Fully assembled, the blender stands 13-3/4 inches high on a 7-inch-square base, which is clad in white plastic with a gray accent band and rubber feet.
